On April 30th, NIFDC released 3 technical documents including technical guidelines on the application of TTC and Read-across methods plus, crucially, the guidelines on the use of cosmetic ingredient data.
These documents introduce the main types of ingredient data that can be applied in cosmetic safety assessment, as well as requirements to use and supporting materials. Applications of Read-across and TTC in cosmetic safety assessment are also described.
