Overview of newly filed domestic and imported cosmetics
Domestic cosmetics: The total number of newly filed cosmetics has reached over 80,000, an increase of 40% compared to the first quarter of 2022, achieving a good start since the beginning of this year.

Imported cosmetics: The total number of newly filed cosmetics has reached over 1,200, an increase of 37% compared to the first quarter of 2022.

Registration data of domestic and imported special cosmetics
Domestic special cosmetics: The total number of newly registered cosmetics has reached over 1,400.
Imported special cosmetics: The total number of newly registered cosmetics has reached over 140.

Domestic special cosmetics were mainly hair dyeing products, accounting for about 59% of the total domestic special cosmetics;
Imported special cosmetics were mainly sun protection products, accounting for about 49% of the total imported special cosmetics.
Distribution of place of origin of imported cosmetics
In the first quarter, the main places of origin of imported cosmetics were South Korea, France, and Japan, with South Korea accounting for 35% of the total.

In the first quarter, LG Household & Health Care Co., Ltd. in South Korea completed the filing of nearly 180 products, accounting for 14% of the total.
Domestic and imported cosmetic filing data of each province
In the first quarter, 81% of domestic products completed filing in Guangdong, and 70% of imported products completed filing in Shanghai.

Production mode of domestic and imported cosmetics
Domestic cosmetics: 83.4% of them were produced by the filers themselves, 16.6% of them adopted OEM/ODM production mode (The mode of domestic production entrusted by domestic enterprises accounted for 16.2%, the mode of domestic production entrusted by overseas enterprises accounted for 0.4%.).

Imported cosmetics: 37% of them adopted self-production mode by cosmetic filers, 63% of them were OEM/ODM production mode (The mode of overseas production entrusted by overseas enterprises accounted for 57%, the mode of overseas production entrusted by domestic enterprises accounted for 6%.).
